Rudolf Liebmann, 86, a resident of Clarion Nursing and Rehab, passed away on February 11, 2026, at the Clarion Hospital following a brief illness.
Rudy was born on November 19,1939 in Panchevo, Yugoslavia. He was the son of Stefan and Solomea (Reiter) Liebmann.
He and his sister came to the United States as teenagers, settling in the Franklin area with their father.
On October 9, 1965, he married the former Elizabeth Eaton, and they moved to the outskirts of Polk, where they resided until she passed away in 2012.
Rudy worked various jobs, including the CPT in Franklin, and retired from Hodge Foundry in Greenville, Pa.
He was a member of the Polk Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his wife and parents, Rudy was preceded in death by his son, Charles, and his sister, Gisela Tanner.
Surviving is his daughter, Julie Motter and husband Gary of Tionesta, a daughter-in-law, Diana Mancini of Mars, Pa, and three grandchildren, Darrin Liebmann of Seneca, Eric Dilley of Oil City, and Luciana Mancini of Mars, Pa, a niece Crystal Dilley of Cooperstown and 2 great nephews, Blake Alexander and Landon Dilley.
At Rudolf’s request, there will be no service.
