Rose M (Yount) Harmon

Rose M. Harmon, 89 of Lake Lucy passed away on June 18, 2024 at Shippenville Healthcare.

Born on December 24, 1934 in Indiana PA she was the daughter of the lat John and Mary Smail Yount.

She was a graduate of Indiana High School in Indiana, PA.

On January 23, 1954 she was married to Harold “Hud” Harmon who preceded her in death on October 1, 2015.

Rose had a love for golf and had been a member of the ladies golf league at Hunter Station in Tionesta and Lily Lake in Florida.

She was a very dedicated employee at Venus Telephone Corp and was proud to say she worked there 50 plus years. Rose was also a long time director of the Venus Telephone Corp.

Rose is survived by her sisters Donna Wyatt and Dorothy Deyarmin both of Indiana PA, and brothers Homer Yount of Elderton PA and Richard Yount of Elyria, OH. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Hud, sister Virginia Chesky and brothers Eugene, Kenneth, and Fred Yount.

Per Rose's request there will be no viewing or services.

Interment will be in the Hawthorn Cemetery.
