Randy J Guth

Randy J. Guth, 54, of Shippenville passed away Saturday February 22, 2014 at Golden Living Center Clarion after a lengthy illness.

Born on March 1, 1959 in Clarion he was the son of Alfred and Shirley Stromyer Guth who both survive.

He was a graduate of North Clarion Schools.

Randy was of the Christian Faith.

He was self employed working for many years in the construction field. Randy also worked at engraving cemetery monuments. His real love was landscaping and horticulture.

Randy moved back to the Clarion area after living and working in Colma City, California.

He was especially close to his Aunt Marie Bish who helped care for him during his illness.

Randy is survived by his parents, and siblings Cal Guth of Sharon Ohio; Pamela Lonidier of Pearlington, MS; and Jody Guth of Shippenville. Also surviving are three nephews, Eric Lonidier, Andrew Guth and Mason Guth; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Russell and Doris Stromyer; Alfred and Opal Guth and a brother Gary Guth.

There will be no pubic visitation. Faller Funeral Home, Inc. will be caring for the family.

Mass of a Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 10:00 am in St. Michael Church in Fryburg with Rev. DG Davis III, pastor as celebrant.

The family suggests that memorials be made to the Monsignor Theobald Fund at St. Michael Church.
