R. Henry Campbell

R. Henry Campbell, 90, of Marble, PA passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010 at UPMC Northwest after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Born March 9, 1920 he was the son of George and Gertrude Locke Campbell who both preceded him in death.

He earned his bachelor degree from Wittenberg University in Springfield OH and his master degree from Ohio State University.

Hank was married on March 26, 1977 to Ann G Campbell (Obenrader) who survives.

Hank started his career as a teacher in Westfield OH and ended as the Superintendent of the Clark County School System in OH.

Hank enjoyed enjoyed buying and remodeling houses. He loved to play golf and gardening. He also enjoyed needle work. He was a 50 year member of the Masonic Temple in Urbana OH.

Hank is survived by his wife and a daughter Jan Campbell and her husband Phil Robinette of Germantown OH. Also surviving are granddaughters Erin Campbell and Katie Campbell; and a great-granddaughter Dorian.

Hank was preceded in death his parents and a son Brian Campbell. He was one of 12 children and he was the last surviving member of his family.

There will be no public visitation.

There will be a private gathering to be held at a later date.
