Myron E. Keverline, 75, of Venus went to be with the Lord on May 23, 2012.
Born on June 23, 1936 in Venus he was the son of Nicholas and Mildred Cropp Keverline.
Myron was a 1955 graduate of Cranberry High School. He served in the Army from October 1957 to October 1959.
Myron was married on April 30, 1960 to the former Mary Ellen McKissick who survives.
He worked for Foster Forbes Glass Plant as an operator from June 1962 until April 1984. He then went to work at Conair as a machinist from June 1987 until his retirement in June 1998.
Myron was a member of many clubs in the area, where he had many friends. He enjoyed gardening, farming, hunting and sharing recipes.
Myron is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen, and their five children: Larry Keverline and his wife Pam of Venus, Lynn Girt and her husband Tim of Erie, Dean Keverline and his wife Rosanne of Venus, Beth Niles and her significant other Casey Gabler of Oil City, and Michael Keverline and his wife Beverly of Erie. Seven grandchildren Alyse and Nick Keverline, Nathanael and Tyler Girt, Courtney and Anthony Keverline and Emily Niles; and his brother Francis Keverline also all survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his stepfather Merle Albaugh.
Faller Funeral Home, Inc. in Fryburg will be caring for the family.
As per Myron's wishes there will be no public visitation. A celebration of Myron's life will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the Fertigs Community Center for 2 pm to 4 pm.
Interment will be in the Mount Collins Cemetery in Tionesta.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Clarion-Forest VNA Hospice Program in Myron's name.
