Michael E. Troup

Michael E. Troup, 55, of Tionesta passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014 at his home after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Born on November 16, 1959 in Brookville he was the son of William and Hazel Bish Troup.

Michael was a North Clarion High School graduate.

On November 24, 1982 Michael was married to the former Emma Jean Kiser who survives.

Michael worked at Koppers in Marble, HDI in Marienville, and also was a Nurses Aid at Snyder Memorial in Marienville.

He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed spending time hunting, and fishing.

Michael is survived by his wife and their children: a son Michael P. Troup of Tionesta; a son Justin Troup and his wife Brittany of Strobleton; a son Mark Troup and his wife Cassandra of Seneca; a daughter Kayla Troup and her fiancé Brandon Dolby of Tionesta; and a granddaughter Aubrey Troup of Strobleton. Also surviving are a sister Sara Troup and her fiancé Roger Kaltenbach of Cranberry; a sister Donna Troup of Corsica; a sister Linda Allio and her husband Gary of Ringgold; a brother David Troup and his fiancé Donna of Strattanville; and a brother John Troup of Utica.

He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Faller Funeral Home, Inc. in Fryburg, with Rev. Randy Evans, Clarion-Forest VNA Hospice Chaplain, presiding.

Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Shippenville following the service.

Memorials in Michael’s honor may be made to the Cancer Center at the Clarion Hospital or the Clarion-Forest VNA Hospice.
