Mark "Fuzz" Edward Zacherl, age 49 of Erie, passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2025 at his home.
He was born in Clarion Hospital on October 8, 1975, He was the Son of Robert Zacherl and Catherine Baumcratz Zacherl.
Mark graduated from Keystone High School and earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Clarion University.
Mark worked as a conductor for the Buffalo Pittsburgh Railroad. He loved to play hockey and always had dreams of owning a dog farm.
Mark is survived by his mother, Catherine Zacherl, and five siblings: Christine M. (Corry) Bish of Corsica, Theresa A. (Paul) Edder of Shippenville, Robert J. (Alicia) Zacherl of Lucinda, David M. (Erinn) Zacherl of Marble, and Luke M. (Jessica) Zacherl of Ellwood City.
Also surviving are two nieces: Kaitlin and Kelsey, and two nephews: Josh and Andrew.
Mark was preceded in death by his father Robert Zacherl who passed away on January 6, 2025, and his nephew Ryan Dunlap.
Per the family’s request, private family services will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mark’s name to the St. Michael Church building and grounds fund, P.O. Box 9 Lucinda, PA 16235.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Faller/Rupert Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Fryburg.
