Jesse M. Blest, age 79 of Oil City, passed away at Clarion Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, on Monday morning, March 30, 2026, following a period of declining health.
Born September 9, 1946, in Oil City, he was a son of the late George Blest and Flora Knight Blest. He was a graduate of Cranberry High School.
Jesse was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Army and was of the protestant faith.
Survivors include his sister-in-law, Joyce Lorraine Blest of Oil City; two nieces: Tammy McLaughlin of South Carolina and Debbie Cope of Oil City; nephew, Jesse Blest of Ohio, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harvey Blest, and niece, Cindy Glass.
In honoring Jesse request, there will be no services.
Interment will take place in the Heckathorn Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Faller/Rupert Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Fryburg.
