James F. Eck 67 of Strobleton passed away January 30, 2012.
Born April 5, 1944 in Strobleton he was the son of Tom and Gussie Siegel Eck.
James was a graduate of North Clarion High School.
He was of the Catholic Faith.
James worked for Kopper's, Ditz Brothers Farm and Hargenrader Brothers Farm.
He enjoyed hunting and wood working. James enjoyed making canes and walking sticks.
Surviving James are three brothers Paul Eck and wife Nancy of Tionesta, Bern Eck and wife Kay of Tionesta, George Eck of Tionesta, three sisters: Sister Mary Joseph of Carrollton, OH, Grace Aymong of Erie, and Rita Schaffer and husband Rich of Tionesta. Two sister-in-laws Margaret Eck and Rose Eck also survive.
James is preceded in death by five brothers: John, Bob, Dick, Tom, and Ed. One sister Mary Port, 2 brother-in-laws: Jack Aymong and Denny Port and a sister-in-law Liz Eck also preceded him in death.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 am on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the Faller Funeral Home, Inc. in Fryburg.
A funeral service held at 11am on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Faller Funeral Home, Inc. in Fryburg with Rev. DG Davis III officiating.
Burial will be in the St. Michael Cemetery following the service.
