Harold E. Harmon

Harold “Hud” E. Harmon, 86, of Lake Lucy passed away unexpectedly on October 1, 2015.

Born on June 26, 1929 in Hawthorn he was the son of Reynolds and Kathryn Miller Harmon.

He was a Clarion-Limestone High School graduate.

On January 23, 1954 he was married to the former Rose Yount who survives.

He attended Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Tionesta.

Hud was self-employed; he and his two brothers operated Harmon Brothers Ready Mix in Corry and Warren PA.

He was an avid golfer, he loved to read and enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Hud was a 32^nd Degree Mason, a life member of the VFW in New Bethlehem a member of the American Legion in Clarion, and also the Fryburg Sportsman's Club.

He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was Honorably Discharged.

Hud is survived by his wife Rose and he was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

He was preceded in death by his brother Richard of Tionesta and his brother Donald of Lake Lucy.

Friends will be received at the Faller Funeral Home, Inc. in Fryburg on Friday, October 2, 2015 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. 

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Faller Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Richard Kightlinger Pastor of United Evangelical Church of Venus presiding.

 

Interment will be in the Hawthorn Cemetery following the service.
