Eva Ann (Caruthers) Scales

     Eva Ann Scales, age 82 of Leeper and Key, Ohio, passed away early Wednesday morning, January 22, 2025.

      Born July 29, 1942 in New Haven, Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late Charles Caruthers and Alverna Dillon Caruthers.

     She married Jodia L. Scales on June 5, 1976 and the couple celebrated 49 years of marriage this past June.

     Before retirement, Eva was a security guard.

      She is survived by her husband, Jodia and her beloved family of four children: Robert Felker, Katherine Fay, Cynthia Baughman and Jasmine Anderson; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

     Eva is also survived by her brothers, Mark Antonizzi and Bill Caruthers, and a sister, Barb Mandt.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Clyde Caruthers.

     There will be no calling hours or services.

      A private family burial will take place at the Holy Memorial Gardens in Ohio at a later date.
