Charles E. Janke, 74, of Tionesta went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Born on August 4, 1941 in Pittsburgh he was the son of Charles W. and Dorothy Dobson Janke.
On May 15, 1965 he was married to the former Bernice Blumer Janke who survives.
He attended Tionesta Alliance Church in Tionesta.
Charles owned and operated his own excavating business from 1966 unit 1974. He and his wife then started Janke Insurance Agency, and operated from 1978 till 2004. Upon retirement he enjoyed restoring old cars with his friends and he loved riding his motorcycle. He enjoyed every minute with his family especially his grandchildren.
From 1961 to 1964 Charles served in the United State Air Force.
He is survived by his wife Bernice, and their children: Michael A. Janke and his wife MaryBeth of Connecticut and his daughter Isabella; Kurt E. Janke and wife Crystal of London England and their children Alex, Olivia, and Anna; Bernice A. Fiorella and husband Glenn of Lake Ariel, and their children Jayla, Aliya, Ava and Sofie; and Loretta L. Fox and husband Dennis of Loveland, OH, and their children Camille, Audrey, and Miles; and a grandson Christopher Janke. A sister Shirely Crider of Florida and a brother Robert Janke of Pittsburgh also survive.

He was preceded in death by his son Charles W. Janke, brother Ron Janke, sister Virginia Isenberg
Friends will be received at the Faller Funeral Home, Inc. in Fryburg on Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 2-4 pm.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Faller Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor James Evilsizor of the Tionesta Alliance Church presiding.
