Beulah "Boots" Arlene Geer, 69, of Tionesta passed away early Saturday morning, May 7, 2011 at her home.
Born October 26, 1941 in Richwood, WV she was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Eleanor "Cricket" Boggs of West Virginia.
She was preceeded in death by an infant daughter, Cherl Lynn Hardman.
She was married July 7, 1970 to Gerald F. Geer who survives.
Boots was a long time wedding cake designer. She enjoyed crafting, gardening, canning and sewing.
She is survived by a son James Hardman Jr. and his wife Linda of Portland, TN; a daughter Belinda Burns and her husband Dan of Erie, PA; a daughter Melissa Frazier of Marble, PA; a daughter Tina Borger and her husband David of Franklin, PA; a son Troy Geer and his wife Heather of Leeper, PA; a daughter Carmen Graham and her husband Vaughn of Tylersburg, PA; and a son Jarrett Geer of Tionesta, PA. In addition, she is also survived by a step-son Gerald F. Geer II and a step-daughter Kimberly Smith. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received 6 to 8 P.M. on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Simons-Coleman Funeral Home 12 Railroad Ave., Richwood, WV 26261.
A Graveside Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at the Taylor Cemetery in Fenwick, WV.
