Matthew S. Ream 35, of Oil City passed away unexpectedly on Monday October 21, 2019.
Born on August 5, 1984 in Oil City he was the son of Edward Ream and Stacy (Scott) Strawbridge.
Attended Cranberry High School and was a member of the wrestling team, and also played little league for Oil City.
He attended Calvary Temple in Oil City and always enjoyed taking his fiancees daughter Nevaeh and his nieces and nephews with him to church. He had a nack for finding scripture for people in need.
Matt worked for Fox Containers in Franklin.
He enjoyed working out, spending time with his family including his nieces and nephews, He was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Matt is survived by his parents, his fiancee Nicole Geib and her children Nevaeh and Jade of Oil City; sister Alyson Ream and her children Cameren, Gauge, Zailen, and Jailah of Oil City; a sister Brandi Wright and husband Edward and children Rylie and Jaycie of Oil City; a brother Nicholas Ream of Oil City. He is also survived by his grandmother Pearl Monarch of Meadville.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Wayne and Patricia Scott, an aunt Kim Hibbard, grandfather Don Ream, and a step-grandfather Jim Monarch.
Friends will be received at the Faller Funeral Home, Inc. in Fryburg on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
