Donna L. Nugent

Donna L. Nugent, 79, formerly of Venus, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019 after a period of declining health.

Born on March 9, 1940 in President, PA she was the daughter of George and Gladys Beck Bigley .

Donna was a graduate of Clarion High School.

She was married on June 4 1960 to John Nugent who survives.

Donna attended Tionesta Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Tionesta.

At the start of her working career Donna was a secretary for the Pennsylvania Artificial Breeding Association “Bull Barn” in Clarion. Later she served as a school bus driver for North Clarion and Oil City School Districts. She also was a devoted home maker and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Donna was a wonderful cook and baker. She devoted many hours preparing meals for her loving family. She also enjoyed cake decorating, gardening, and watching the Food Network. When she was not hard at work in the kitchen you could find her talking on the phone for many hours to her friends.

Donna was an active member of the PTO at North Clarion for many years.

She is survived by her husband John and their sons Gregory Nugent of Clarion and Dan Nugent of Oil City. Granddaughters Emily Buzard and husband Brandon of Hawthorne, Ashlyn Nugent and fiancee Brady Holben of Brookville, and Madison Nugent of Brookville, and also a great-grandson Damon Buzard.

She was preceded in death by parents, a great-grandson Parker Buzard, and asister Hazel Lewis.

Friends will be received at the Faller Funeral Home, Inc. in Fryburg on Sunday September 29, 2019 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
