Anthony “Big T” J. Totin, 67, of Newmansville passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on October 16, 2019, after a courageous battle against a lengthy illness.
Born on January 15, 1952 in McKeesport, PA he was the son of the late Ernest and Arline Adamitis Totin.
Anthony graduated from McKeesport Area High School and attended Penn State University of McKeesport.
On April 24, 2004 he was married to the former Darla M. Cosgrove Totin and she survives.
Anthony attended the United Evangelical Church in Venus, PA.
He worked for Copperweld in Pittsburgh, Murray Automotive in Pittsburgh, and then owned and operated County Line Construction.
When not working Anthony enjoyed bowling, softball, pool, cards, hunting, tinkering with cars, woodworking, riding his Harley and he most enjoyed spending time on his John Deere Backhoe. He was known as the man that could build or fix anything.
He was a member of the Antler Club in Lucinda, American Legion Post 66 in Clarion, Fryburg Sportsman's Club in Fryburg, and also a lifetime member of the NRA.
Anthony is survived by his wife Darla, daughter Janelle C. DiNicola and husband Rob of Clermont, FL; son Ryan W. Cosgrove and wife Brittanie of Valencia, PA; and daughter Lauren M. Bates and husband Rich of Salem OH. His greatest joy was spending time with his seven grandchildren: Vinny, Olivia, Liza, Kayden, Kellan, Brody, Grayson and his faithful companion Milo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Mary Jane, and Gramma D.
Friends will be received at the Faller Funeral Home, Inc. in Fryburg on Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 1-4pm and 7-9pm.
Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, October 21, 2019 at United Evangelical Church in Venus, with Rev. Richard Kightlinger, Pastor of United Evangelical Church presiding and Pastor Randy Evans, Clarion-Forest VNA Hospice Chaplain assisting.
