Henry E. Beichner, 82, of Shippenville passed away March 11, 2024, after a period of declining health.
Born on June 27, 1941 in Clarion, PA, he was the son of the late Enos Joseph and Elda Motter Beichner.
He was a graduate of North Clarion High School.
Henry was married at St. Michael Church in Fryburg by Father Theobald, on August 27, 1966 to Joan Moody Beichner who preceded him in death on March 4, 2016.
He was a member of St. Michael Church in Fryburg, PA.
Henry served Honorably in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1969, earning a merit award for Expert Rifleman.
He worked as a Journeyman Lineman for many years before spending over 20 years at Pennzoil Refinery in Oil City, PA as a chemical plant operator. Henry and his wife Joan founded Pork Hill Farms with their sons where they raised pigs and beef cattle. When not working he enjoyed farming, fixing farming equipment, spending time with family, planting and watching crops grow.
Henry is survived by sons Garrett Beichner of Shippenville, Gregory Beichner and his wife Dina, and grandchildren Anyanka (Anya) and Marcus Beichner all of Allison Park, PA. Also surviving are a multitude of cousins, nieces and nephews, whom he loved to visit with and hear about. Henry was preceded in death by 4 older brothers and 6 older sisters.
As per family request there will be no public visitation.
A graveside service will be held at St. Michael Cemetery on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at 2 pm with Rev. Michael Polinek officiating.
