I remember Pete from when I use to ride my bike from one end of the old road to the other end just to get Jean to do my hair. He was such a nice man, would see him from time to time he always had a smile & a Hi. God got another angel, he's up there now with my Dad . May the good Lord watch over all of you. I won't be able to make it up, I am sorry since I live in Washington County & can't get away. My love to Jean I think of her often every time I get my hair cut no one could do it right like she did.

When we read "Pete's" Obituary, our first thoughts were what a wonderful and fulfilling life he led and what a wonderful family he and his wife raised together. We are also thankful for the service he and others gave to our nation and find it fitting to remember their sacrifice this Memorial Day. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this most difficult time.

Pete was a most special person to our family. To my father, Lew Ehrhart, he was a wonderful friend and a man who Dad held in very high regard. Dad enjoyed late night chats at the restaurant with Pete and their forays on the water You can be very, very proud of him....he was truly a good man. It was always a source of pride to have him say "Hello" to me. One day at the Antique Mall a few years ago... I looked at the couple coming in the door at there was Pete and Jean....stopped to see me. How good is that?
